IM Goran Vojinovic is a member of the “Deauville Team” in France.

The past five years the "Deauville Team" has played in the National 1 league. This year, the team played in one of the strongest European team championships Top 16, consisting of the best 16 teams and some of the best world chess players. Some world renowned grandmasters who have played in the TOP 16 are Vladimir Kramnik, Vishy Anand, Veselin Topalov and Alexei Shirov and others.

This year, Goran had the opportunity to play against GM Etienne Bacrot who became a grandmaster at age 14 and second highest ranking French player,GM Rustan Kasimdzhanow, best known for winning the FIDE World Chess Championship 2004, and GM Artur Jussupow one of the world’s foremost experts on Russian defense.
